THACO, in partnership with Vietnam Television and the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, recently awarded the Road to Olympia scholarships for Q4 2024 to 10 academic high achievers from disadvantaged backgrounds.

The ceremony, attended by Ms. Vuong Huong Giang, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training Deputy Director, along with city high school teachers and students, saw Mr. Tran Xuan Hoai, THACO AUTO Truck & Bus Hanoi Vice Director, presented 10 scholarships worth VND10 million each.

Ms. Vuong Huong Giang, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training Deputy Director, emphasized, ‘We always encourage students to participate in activities that foster a passion for learning, such as the 'Road to Olympia.' These scholarships provide both material support and a significant source of motivation for students to overcome difficulties and excel academically and personally.’

Nguyen Duc Tam, an 11th-grade student at Van Noi High School in Dong Anh District, expressed his gratitude for the scholarship, stating that it would inspire him to achieve greater academic success and contribute positively to society.

THACO's scholarship fund aims to improve learning and living conditions for talented youth while showcasing the Group's commitment to advancing Vietnam's education sector.

The "Road to Olympia" scholarship fund, part of the "Road to Olympia" TV program, implemented by Vietnam Television, THACO, and provincial education departments, awards 10 scholarships worth VND10 million each to students from disadvantaged backgrounds in provinces or cities with a quarterly competition winner.


Following Nguyen Nguyen Phu's impressive win in the fourth quarter of the 2024 "Road to Olympia" competition, THACO awarded 10 scholarships to disadvantaged high school students in Hanoi.
