The event took place on Wednesday to show gratitude towards customers loyal to THACO AUTO and BMW for the past 5 years, and to launch 4 new-generation BMW Luxury Class cars, including The new BMW X7, the new BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe, the all-new BMW 7 Series and especially the all-new BMW i7, the BMW's first-ever electric vehicle to make debut in Vietnam.



At the program, Mr. Nguyen Quang Bao, THACO AUTO President said, as the official BMW distributor in Vietnam, THACO AUTO has cooperated closely with the German automaker in strengthening the BMW brand, reconnecting with customers, and introducing the latest car models to the Vietnamese market.

In the past 5 years, THACO AUTO has achieved the sales of more than 4,000 vehicles, introduced 15 new cars of all key BMW models, and continuously expanded the distribution system. From 2 first dealerships, one in Phu My Hung (HCMC) and the other in Long Bien (Hanoi City), to date, THACO AUTO has put into operation 13 BMW dealerships nationwide in total. In addition, the Vietnamese automaker has also operated the "BMW - MINI - BMW Motorrad Showroom Complex" with 5-star luxurious showroom, customer lounge and service areas to bring comfort to all customers.

“Today's event is a testament to the BMW's comprehensive change in the new period, evidently in the launched new-generation BMW Luxury Class cars, bringing the BMW brand in Vietnam into a new era", stressed the THACO AUTO President.


Also on this occasion, Mr. Jean-Philippe Parain, Senior Vice President from BMW Group viewed Vietnam as a strategic market for BMW in Southeast Asia. He mentioned the important development milestone in the cooperation when BMW decided to start the BMW vehicles production in Chu Lai, Quang Nam province. The BMW Vice President continued to attest the long-term cooperation relationship between the two with the launch of the BMW i7, marking the BMW's new step in the electric vehicle segment in Vietnam.

After launching the 4 new-generation BMW Luxury Class cars, THACO AUTO and BMW also introduced the BMW Excellence Club to offer BMW-standard exclusive privileges to the Luxury Class customers, namely, Service Home Pick-Up (customers may have their BMW cars delivered home after purchase or services), Priority Bay (customers may have their cars serviced in priority compartment), Car Spa (free car beauty services, e.g. cleaning and polishing, etc.), Private Chauffeur (customers can hire BMW cars and private drivers on their business trips to Vietnamese provinces where there are BMW dealerships), Exclusive Events (customers may attend exclusive events given by BMW), and Fashion Show Passport (privilege to attend high-class fashion shows in Vietnam).


In May, the new BMW Luxury Class cars will be displayed and introduced (offline and online) at all showrooms of the BMW dealerships nationwide, to bring them closer to the customers, especially the BMW enthusiast community.
