Specifically, the Vietnamese automaker sponsored 30 ambulances to the capital. The vehicles are the Italian IVECO mini buses which meet European benchmarks. Apart from the equipment of an ambulance, the vehicle is also equipped with a disinfectant and air cleaner with negative air pressure to carry severe Covid-19 patients to hospitals. Hanoi also received 300,000 SARS-CoV-2 rapid test kits from THACO at the event.

Furthermore, THACO also provided the city with 30 self-manufactured mobile vaccination trucks which boast a flexible design with a twin 6-seat cabin, making it easy for medical workers to perform rapid testing and vaccination in small crowded areas.

With such support, THACO hopes the capital would succeed in quelling Covid within its communities.
