There are 402 schools in the province, among which schools in remote areas are divided from one another by plenty of rivers and canals, making it hard for people to travel. Khmer people account for 29% of the population there. During the pandemic surge, students could not go to school, and the tools used for online teaching and learning became scarce.

With this special donation, THACO hopes to enable disadvantaged students in the province to study more easily.
