THACO EXPORTS FUEL TANKS TO SOUTH KOREA, LAUNCHES CHU LAI – BUSAN SHIPPING ROUTE

On June 22, 2018, THACO completed the procedures to export thirty 3,000-liter fuel tanks to South Korea’s JMK. The cargo was shipped directly from Chu Lai Port in Quang Nam Province.

Since the beginning of 2018, THACO has produced and handed over three shipments with over two hundred 2.5-ton dump truck boxes and 3,000-liter fuel tanks to JMK. This cargo consisted of thirty 3,000-liter fuel tanks, which was transported by the NO28-numbered APL vessel from Chu Lai Port to JMK. As per the parties’ agreement, in the third and fourth quarters of 2018, THACO will continue to send 100 dump truck boxes of 2.5 tons and 3,000-liter fuel tanks to JMK, reaching a total of 300 sets of components to meet its export target set for this year.

Also last week, Chu Lai Port transported oversized cargoes for giant Hoa Phat Group to its factory in Dung Quat, Quang Ngai Province. During this trip, Hoa Phat’s Kai Jie ship transported the cargoes of up to 80 tons.

Receiving ships, loading, unloading and delivering goods at terminals is one of the activities included in the full-package logistics services that Chu Lai Logistics provides to customers. In the coming time, Chu Lai Port will continue to invest in equipment, wharves and berths to handle various types of commodities: liquid (gas, asphalt), containerized cargo, bulk cargo (cement, sand , soda) ... and over-sized over-weight goods.
